AIFA reveals Sants' annual dinner speech

FSA chief executive Hector Sants will use his keynote speech at the Association of Independent Financial Advisers (AIFA) annual dinner to discuss the FSA's supervisory strategy.

At the dinner next Wednesday he will tell AIFA members how the regulator will help small firms and how it listens to and wants to work with advisers. He will also discuss the Retail Distribution Review (RDR) and how principles-based regulation relates to current market conditions. The dinner will take place at Drapers Hall in London at 7:15pm. Chris Cummings, director general of AIFA, will give the opening speech and closing comments will come from AIFA chairman, John Gummer.
