Revenue considers 'virtual' A-Day

The Inland Revenue says guidance offered to IFAs following 6 April 06, will only be offered as an online service, removing all paper-based structures.

Speaking at the Henry Stewart Sipp conference, Les Shaw, customer relations and learning team leader at the Revenue, has said in keeping with evolving technology and living in an online world, the Revenue will not produce guidance in volumes of paper, choosing instead to use strictly an online format. He says: “It will be online and constructed to deliver answers depending on who is asking – so looking for say an administrator’s responsibility on LTA will take one route while approaching as an individual to see what the rules are will go a different route.” However, the online direction...
