FSSC wins funding to coach senior women

The Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC) has won funding to support a training programme designed to help senior women in financial services and accountancy to maximise their career potential.

The programme, 'Through the Glass Ceiling: training and personal coaching for senior women' is now open for applications. While building societies and insurance were highlighted as priority areas in the FSSC’s bid, women in senior level roles in all areas of financial services or accountancy in England are also eligible. The initiative, developed by the FSSC and Intouch consulting has secured funding from the UK Commission for Employment & Skills (UKCES), which will cover more than two-thirds of the training costs for each delegate.
