Adviser firm Millfield has set up a series of seminars around the country to go over the arguments for and against different business models made possible by the regulatory changes pending through depolarisation.

Coverd during the meetings are: opportunities from depolaristation, effects of depolarisation on adviser businesses and their clients, changes to sales processes under the new regulations, changes to documentation - including initial disclosure documents and the menu how multi-tie can add value to adviser businesses, other information on the choices facing advisers. Millfield itself has opted for a “dual authorisation” structure, with its advisers practicing either as whole of market or multi-tie - one of the options that will be discussed in the meetings.
