Product research firm Defaqto has produced a report in the s32 offerings of 15 pension providers, suggesting Clerical Medical, Prudential and Scottish Life offer the best options on the market.
Designed to help intermediaries who have decided an s32 buy-out plan is appropriate for their client, the report uses data from the Aeguos system to provide a checklist of features, to be considered when seeking the most appropriate product for that individual. Star ratings were set against 23 plans using nil commission as a benchmark, and the packages were then rated according to product features and charges. Copies of the full Defaqto report cost £495.
