In London, markets fell as mining stock lost some of Monday's gains and the FTSE 100 was down 41.7 points, or 0.65%, to 6,424.2.
Man Group share were up 15 points, or 2.87%, to 538p, followed by Standard Chartered, up 22 points, or 1.38%, to £16.17. National Grid added 7.5 points, or 0.99%, to 768.5p, Tate & Lyle climbed 5 points, or 0.89%, to 565.5p and Liberty International gained 7 points, or 0.63%, to £11.21. Antofagasta shares fell 37 points, or 4.39%, to 806p, Vedanta Resources shares lost 80 points, or 3.58%, to £21.55 and Lonmin dropped 119 points, or 3.52%, to £32.64.
