IFAs are heading towards a brighter future, suggests Steve Bee, head of pensions strategy at Scottish Life, as pension changes will give rise to plenty of advice opportunities.
Speaking at Scottish Life's pensions roadshow in Manchester last week, Bee told advisers he believes "pensions have a bright future in the UK, and encouragingly one filled with advice". This is "great news" for IFAs, he exclaimed. Bee also said the "planning blight" of the last few years is finally over, and added "I think we've finally got to where we wanted to be and have the time we asked for to help us do our jobs properly".
