Traditional pension products and policies are outdated and a major rethink is needed as baby boomers approach retirement, according to pensions expert Dr Ros Altmann.
Speaking at the Facing Retirement Forum, Altmann says she wants to encourage product innovation from providers as pensions become more of a supplement to later life income then a replacement lasting for decades. Altmann says: "Suddenly stopping work altogether is old-fashioned thinking.
