Gartmore poaches Threadneedle's Rossi

Threadneedle head of equities Dominic Rossi is to leave the firm and join Gartmore as CIO.

Rossi will be responsible for overseeing the investment division at Gartmore when he joins later this year. The group has been without a CIO since 2005 when Quintin Price left the role to go to Merrill Lynch. Filling Rossi’s position at Threadneedle in the interim will be CIO Sarah Arkle.
