The Department for Work and Pensions has started advertising for the chief executive of the personal accounts delivery authority, with the expectation someone will be in place by the summer.
The government is also looking for two executive directors to be in place by November, although in a series of advertisements appearing in yesterday’s media the position of a non-executive director is also available. The description says the potential head of the delivery authority, which will initially advise the government on setting up the new system of personal accounts, should be “An outstanding strategist, an inspirational leader and a communicator with experience as a main board director or chair of a major commercial organisation ideally in the financial services industry.
