Legal & General's pensions technical team - headed by Colin Batchelor - has published a booklet to help IFAs stay one step ahead of the government pension simplification proposals.
The profile, called 'Pensions Simplification – Time and tide wait for no plan' , has been created to offer an in-depth analysis of the Inland Revenue’s pensions tax simplification paper, which is likely to come into effect next year. Running through the most important aspects of the IR's second consultation document – from the lifetime allowance to the protection – the guide forms a part of L&G’s new technical support service available for IFAs.
