The government must address the issue of means-testing now as Britain cannot afford another round of pension reform, the Conservatives warn.
The party's work and pensions spokesman Chris Grayling told delegates at the Association of British Insurers' Savings Conference, the immediate challenge for the industry was to make pension reform work and to get people saving again for the future. He said: "If the government does not address the means-testing problem now, there is going to be a huge problem when personal accounts are introduced in 2012.
