The new Pensions Regulator has selected a ‘determinations panel' with John Scampion as its chairman.
The panel will be responsible for making formal decisions regarding individual cases where the regulator looks to exercise its powers, when it replaces Opra as regulator of occupational pension schemes in the UK tomorrow. Scampion is currently member of the Healthcare Commission, a member of the Criminal Injuries Compensation Appeals Panel and former metropolitan local authority chief executive.
