FTSE builds on 30 month high

In the UK, the FTSE 100 Index continues its good form during morning trading, led up about 11 points to 4,858 by British Sky Broadcasting Group

The broadcasting group has added 10.50p to 567p. Mining firm BHP Billiton has added 11p to 664p, while Lloyds TSB has increased 7.25p to 491.50p. Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance leads the drop, shedding 2p or 2% to 84.25p. In Japan, stocks declined led by exporters including Toyota and Honda, after the yen picked up further value against the dollar. The Nikkei 225 Stock Average index lost 0.3% to 11,341.31 points at its close early this morning. Toyota shed a percentage point to 4,010 yen.
