Regulator head of strategy re-elected president of IOPS

The head of strategy at the Pensions Regulator has been re-elected as the president of the International Organisation of Pension Supervisors (IOPS).

Formed in July 2004, the IOPS elected John Ashcroft, head of strategy at The Pensions Regulator, to continue to serve as President of the Association with Guillermo Larrain, from the Chilean pension supervisory authority, Superintendencia de Administradoras de Fondos de Pensiones, as Vice President. The IOPS has representatives from over 30 countries, and its aim is to improve the quality and efficiency of the supervision of private pension systems throughout the world.
