The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has arrested three men after a tip-off from the Pensions Regulator.
The three men arrested are thought to be connected to pension trustees GP Noble, with two thought to be former executive directors at the firm. On 14 August, the Pensions Regulator suspended GP Noble as trustee for a number of pension schemes after concern was raised about certain plans. The Pensions Regulator transferred management of the schemes to a third party, Independent Trustee Services, and says members’ benefits are not at risk.
