Standard Life has this week signed an agreement to link to the HSBC Life Amanah Pension Fund for its pension customers.
The fund, the first in the UK to meet the requirements of Islamic law, monitors the Dow Jones Islamic Market Titans Index and therefore does not invest in firms whose primary activities include alcohol, tobacco, pork-related products, weapons and defence, entertainment or conventional financial services.
