The Chartered Insurance Institute is set to host its next forum on training and competency issues and associated affects on IFA business models on 12 May.
Taking place at the CII’s Insurance Hall premises in London, the forum will look at regulatory demands, such as the need to ensure staff are “competent” in the eyes of the FSA, and how to approach solutions offered on the market. Meeting the cost of T&C requirements is a major challenge for businesses large and small, from both the perspective of choosing a solution and paying for it, the CII says.
