Worldwide FP begins its expansion with BDO recruits

Truro-based Worldwide Financial Planning Limited has begun expanding its empire and recruited five staff - including three advisers - from BDO Stoy Hayward Wealth Management in Birmingham.

Plans to expand the firm were first revealed last month when Andrew Bedford – former network sales director at Sesame – joined the firm to develop a two-year growth strategy and make WWFP a top 50 IFA within two years. All three advisers from BDO - John Shackleton, Pat Chaplain and David Gould - will now operate from a new office in Pershore, Worcestershire as group pensions specialists. Both Shackleton and G|ould previously worked at Scottish Equitable. IFAonline
