Skandia to run RDR and platform seminars

Skandia is set to run a series of Trailblazer seminars focusing on advisers' use of platforms and the possible impact of the RDR on intermediaries' businesses.

Running throughout November, the seminars will also cover bear market investment strategies available to advisers. The platform session will explore topics such as bundled and unbundled commissions, the truth behind platform charging and advice issues that need to be considered around re-registration of assets between platforms, says Skandia. There will also be a seminar on the adviser proposition post-RDR which will investigate how customer agreed remuneration and TCF will shape future financial advice.
