PHP acquires Select Healthcare

The Private Health Partnership has acquired Select Healthcare, a specialist medical insurance adviser, for an undisclosed sum.

Select Healthcare was established 16 years ago and specialises in advising on medical insurance for individuals and small groups. The sale is a retirement sale, but Select Healthcare’s founder Mike Wilson may continue to provide new business introductions on a limited basis. The acquisition by PHP marks its third in two months, following the acquisition of JSP Medical Insurance Services and care advisory service company Red Arc in December 2006.
