The Pensions Regulator and the FSA have published an overview of the requirements relating to contract-based schemes and the regulators' own regimes.
The bodies aim the guide at advisers, providers and employers involved in operating workplace contract-based pensions. The regulators designed the guide to provide clarity on regulation for aspects of work place contract-based pensions, following requests for this in the Thornton review in June. The guide also follows feedback to the Pensions Regulator's defined contribution (DC) risks consultation.
