The CII Group will merge with the Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance (ANZIIF) to create the largest global financial services professional body.
The merged body, called the Chartered Institute of Financial Services (CIFS) will have over 105,000 members across 170 countries. It will seek to secure and justify public confidence in the professionalism of its members worldwide. An international membership body promoting a clear set of standards, it will raise the profile of industry qualifications with consumers and regulators.
