Fixed income changes at Investec and Aegon

Ian Frost is moving from BlackRock to Investec Asset Management to become a global fixed income portfolio manager while Aegon Asset Management has also announced a series of new arrivals to its fixed income team.

Frost’s arrival boosts Investec’s fixed income team to 31 people and he will contribute to the management of assets under management worth $13.4bn (£8bn). He was previously senior fixed income income fund manager at Merrill Lynch Investment Management – recently rebranded as BlackRock following the completion of the merger between the two firms – for seven years, and prior to this was senior investment manager at Pictet.
