NU urges employers to support older workers

When asked what factors would stop them working past retirement age, nearly two thirds of 45 to 54 year-olds questioned, answered that employer culture does not support older workers. Many more people are continuing to work past 65, either because they enjoy the mental stimulation and social aspects of their work or because they can’t afford to retire comfortably.
