IFAs say the Government should treat customers fairly (TCF) when setting up personal accounts through auto-enrolment.
A poll run by Scottish Life’s head of pensions strategy Steve Bee found more than 96% of IFAs surveyed believe the Government should apply TCF to the proposed system. One IFA says on Bee's website, Beehive: "The adviser community cannot be asked to do one thing and the government in the same circumstances just ignore it." Another IFA says: "Surely it is in the interests of every government to be seen to be treating its citizens fairly.
