Lawrence Churchill has been reappointed chairman of the Pension Protection Fund (PPF) for a further three years.
He will be paid about £85,000 a year for the equivalent to two days a week, a statement said. Churchill joined PPF from Unum, a disability insurer, where he was executive chairman. He was previously chief executive of Zurich Financial Services, UK Irish and International Life from December 2002.
