David Mitchinson is moving from Framlington Investment Management to run the £175m JPMorgan Fleming Japan Fund OEIC.
Mitchinson will be responsible for a team of 18 based in Tokyo, overseeing a portfolio of roughly $21bn worth of assets under management on behalf of investors worldwide. The fund, an open ended investment company launched in 1970, will retain its focus on bottom-up stock picking. The fund’s target market is currently benefiting from “substantial corporate and structural reforms”, JPMF says. IFAonline
