Aegon appoints director duo

Aegon has appointed Feilim Mackle as director of the individual business division and Steve Clode as director of marketing and customer strategy.

Mackle joins from Royal Bank of Scotland where he worked as managing director of the bank’s retail banking division from 2003. He replaces Peter Dornan, who becomes director of partnership and distribution development. Mackle began his career at Standard Life and became sales director for its direct sales force in 1997. He became director of e-commerce in 1999 and managing director of UK sales in 2000. Clode previously worked as marketing director at Nationwide Building Society from 1999.
