The National Association of Pension Funds (NAPF) has appointed David McCourt as policy adviser of investment and governance.
He joins from National Grid, where he worked as assistant pensions manager from 2004. McCourt previously worked as head of pensions at University of Manchester from 2002 to 2004. At the NAPF, he will report to Nigel Peaple, director of policy. The hire follows the appointment of Alan Chart as policy adviser last month.
