Specialist pension firm AJ Bell is set to offer its Sippcentre customers access to the Cofunds platform.
As part of the deal, Cofunds will subsidise 100% of the £120 SIPP establishment fee in cases where at least £25,000 is held on the platform. In addition, it will also subsidise Sippcentre’s annual SIPP fees based on the value of funds held with Cofunds. For funds more than £125,000 the annual fee reduces to £100 plus VAT and for funds greater than £250,000 there is no annual fee. Chief executive of the firm, Andy Bell, says: “SIPPs are about control, transparency and flexibility and too many of the new breed of Sipps are personal pensions masquerading under a badge of convenience.” Cofu...
