SNP pledges FTB grants and higher pension income

The Scottish National Party has today published its manifesto and pledged to implement grants first-time buyers to help them buy their first home, a local income tax and a pension in retirement based on residency rather than contributions.

Details of the manifesto entitled A People's Manifesto To Make Scotland Matter says the SNP will continue to argue for total independence from the existing UK government regime but will also focus on creating new opportunities for young Scots, boosting pensioner incomes and generating higher wealth for all.
