Medical check-ups and health screenings for employees will be exempt from taxation from the middle of August.
Employees currently must declare health screening and check-ups as a 'benefit in kind', and must pay income tax on them. The amendment means they will be exempt from income tax from the middle of August if performed as an arrangement between employer and employee.
