Trevor Matthews joins ABI board

The ABI has appointed Friends Provident CEO, Trevor Matthews, and Brit Insurance CEO, Dane Douteil, to its board.

It says Matthews was chosen due to the significant contribution he has made to the Association during his long career in the life and pensions industry. Douteil was brought in due to his experience in the wholesale insurance business and as the head of a major UK insurer. "Dane and Trevor bring a wealth of experience and a great enthusiasm for delivering real improvements to customers to the table," says ABI chairman Archie Kane. "They will play a key part, alongside the other ABI Board members, in delivering the ABI's aim of enhancing customer experiences of the whole insurance industry...
