Page retires from FSA

The Financial Services Authority (FSA) has announced the retirement of Oliver Page, director of major retail groups and financial stability sector leader.

Page, who has been with the FSA since its creation in 1998, and previously with the Bank of England, will retire at the end of April 2006. David Strachan, formerly retail firms director as major retail groups director and financial stability sector leader, with the handover currently underway. Sarah Wilson, who returned from maternity leave in September 2005, will take over from Strachan as retail firms director and insurance sector leader.
