SmartMove launches adverse lending website

SmartMove has launched a new website which it says will give mortgage intermediaries access to underwritten adverse lending decisions for their clients within seconds.

The website - MortgageClearingOnline - has been developed to enable users to source a mortgage deal, underwrite the application and produce a key facts illustration (KFI) along with compliance research. The news follows the annoucement yesterday by Nationwide Building Society that it had launched an online applciation facility for consumers to make direct mortgage applications. SmartMove says the platform provides intermediaries with details of specific lenders and specific mortgage deals available to their clients along with reasons for the product choice for both clients and regulator...
