Actuarial firms Wolanski & Co and CheckleyFisher have announced they are to merge to form a new actuarial and corporate pension specialist.
Renamed Wolanski Checkley Fisher, the new firm will include seven owner-manager actuaries, and aims to offer a ‘boutique’ alternative to the established firms which currently operate in the market. It says the new company will continue to focus on using technology to deliver rapid results, and in addition to providing actuarial and consultancy services to employers and trustees, it plans to assist other advisers involved in the financial management of pensions, such as lawyers, investment bankers and corporate financiers.
