Relative stability in the guaranteed critical illness insurance market may only be 'a blip' as coming regulation and product development are likely to shift the market again, warns LifeSearch.
According to the protection adviser, the guaranteed CI market has experienced more stability in the second quarter this year than in any other period over the last 18 months. However, this current stability "may only be temporary", LifeSearch says. Development in medical science as well as in the reassurance market are both likely to have an impact on the market.
