Punters are braced for the government's announcement today of the location of the country's first ‘super casino' - widely tipped to be placed in the Greenwich area of London.

However,, it is also worth noting the government is to announce a further eight ‘large’ and eight ‘small’ casinos set for towns as diverse as Torbay, Luton and Hastings, says The Daily Telegraph. Councils will do the bidding, but they will have a heavy helping hand by global gambling companies such as Rank, Coral, Harrah’s and Kerzner. THE TIMES says parents face the nightmare of nursery fees becoming more expensive than private school fees, as costs have galloped away from inflation in the past few years.
