Firms online likely to close this weekend

The Financial Services Authority's firms online reporting tool is likely to be down for system maintenance this weekend.

The FSA says it is likely to take the system down from 6pm on Friday 9 February until 8am on Monday 12 February for essential maintenance. If it does, returns which are due on Monday 12 February will be granted an extension to Monday 19 February, but the FSA is encouraging firms to complete their returns before then because the system will be busy at this time. Firms who miss their reporting deadline will be fined £250.
