Kellard: New AXA firm will be 'pillar' of multi-manager future

The CEO of new AXA-backed investment company Mike Kellard says the upcoming venture will be the "pillar" of growth and multi-manager products in the future.

Kellard and managing director Ian Colquhuon will be joined by Richard Philbin at the new firm, with the former F&C multi-manager head today announced as CIO. AXA initially announced Philbin’s appointment last month but had not confirmed his role. Philbin, who quit F&C at the end of April, will be tasked with helping establish the new venture; details on which AXA says will be unveiled “in the coming months”.
