BT Group rose 7.25 points, or 2.26%, to 327.75p. Xstrata rose 64 points, or 1.92%, to 3405p. Rio Tinto rose 75 points, or 1.77%, to 4310p. Experian rose 8.5 points, or 1.76%, to 490.25p. Antofagasta rose 12.5 points, or 1.53%, to 830.5p. British Energy Group fell 15 points, or 2.74%, to 533p. Taylor Wimpey fell 6.5 points, or 2.67%, to 236.75p. British Land Co fell 26 points, or 2.52%, to 1004p. Centrica fell nine points, or 2.42%, to 363.5p. Lonmin fell 71 points, or 2.13%, to 3267p. The Dow Jones fell 3.33 points, or 0.02%, to 13671.92c.
