IFA group Cavanagh is poised to make further adviser acquisitions in the coming months after reporting a 23% profit increase for the first six months of the year.
Group profit increased to £1.08m during the period, while revenue leapt 22% to £9.46m and net debt reduced by £755,000. Cavanagh completed the integration of Edinburgh IFA firm JRG Financial Consultancy during H1, with chairman Paul Sinnett expecting the “creditable” results to set a firm base for further growth. “A key element of this is the recruitment of new consultants who we believe can produce above-industry average levels of income.
