New Pension site to launch

Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Alan Johnson, along with chairman of the Employer Task Force, Sir Peter Davis, will launch a new pensions website this week.

The site has been created following a recommendation by an Employer Task Force report, published in December, and will provide advice and examples of good practice in employer pension provision. Meanwhile, Alan Duncan has been appointed as director of operations and member of the Board of the Pension Protection Fund. He will assume his new role on 28 February 2005 and joins the PPF from Invesco Pensions where he functioned under the same title. Duncan will take charge of directing daily core operations, including the end-to-end process relating to the entry of schemes into the PPF...
