AIFA publishes small firm TCF guides

The Association of IFAs (AIFA) has today published treating customers fairly (TCF) help papers for small adviser firms.

The papers provide a methodology on how to consider an adviser’s existing and required management information (MI) under TCF. They also show advisers how to analyse and relate the MI to the FSA's six consumer outcomes and offer two pen portraits representing examples of two firms' real life interpretation of the FSA MI requirements. Chris Cummings, director general of AIFA, says: "We have worked closely with the FSA in producing this information.
