Clarkson Hill adds IFAs as profits dip

IFA group Clarkson Hill has seen its pre-tax profit fall 20% to £20,031 over the year to 31 July.

The Cambridge-based firm increased revenue by 21% to £22.1m over the period, but gross profit dipped 3% to £3.53m. While Clarkson Hill suffered a slide in profits, the firm was still able increase adviser numbers from 350 to 364. The group completed £361m in single premium business in the period, with single premium investments up 14%, pension investments increasing 22% and protection rising 40%. Fees, including mortgages, jumped 22%. Clarkson Hill CEO Ron Pritchard says the firm intends to establish the dividend payments to shareholders as soon as it is “appropriate”. “The group i...
