The amount of funds under management in Guernsey have hit a new high according to the Island's Financial Services Commission.
In the latest set of figures, Guernsey’s Financial Services Commission says the rise in funds under management and administration of £3.4bn, or 3%, over the last three months brings the fund value up to £114.8bn, with a year on year increase of 35%. Within these figures the total number of funds now stands at 845, up by 15% from June 2005, while the number of open and closed ended funds increased by 7%, while non-Guernsey schemes increased by 2.5%. However the value of non-Guernsey schemes which have some aspect of management or administration on the Island actually fell £1.8bn, or 7.6%...
