Pru names O'Dwyer life and pensions chief

Prudential UK has appointed Barry O'Dwyer managing director of retail life and pensions.

Currently products and marketing director for HBOS Financial Services, he is in charge of investment, pensions and protection products across the Clerical Medical, Halifax and RBS brands. Prior to joining HBOS in January, O’Dwyer spent 19 years at Standard Life, most recently as managing director for UK marketing. O’Dwyer will be responsible for developing and delivering Prudential UK’s strategy in the retail market.
