Offshore focus for SLI under new CEO

Standard Life International has appointed Craig Tunstall as chief executive, taking over from Murray Drummond who has been in the role for just over two years.

A qualified actuary, Tunstall joined Standard Life in Edinburgh in 1992 moving to the company’s former Spanish subsidiary in 1995. Returning to the UK in 1998, he was responsible for Isa development prior to becoming actuarial and finance director for Ireland in 2000. Tunstall has returned to Dublin from his current role as business development director of Standard Life’s German business, where he was responsible for product development and marketing in Germany and Austria.
