DWP launches pension consultation website

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has launched an online pensions porum to help build a consensus around the white paper proposals.

The Forum, developed over this week, includes ‘talking points’ to allow online debates and James Purnell, minister for pensions reform, yesterday went live with a regular blog detailing the latest news and developments. Over the next few weeks, the Forum intends to hold online debates and to explore in more detail key issues such as: Creating personal accounts – introducing auto-enrolment into a low-cost scheme of personal accounts Restoring the earnings link – providing a firm foundation for private saving Modernising the contributory principle to better provide for women and care...
